I’m visual artist. How can I share my piece of JOY in a video format?

• Slideshow (to music or some kind of soundscore)
• A video of you (interacting) with your art
• Filming your art in a chosen space (studio, nature, etc.)
• Include responses/video/testimonials from people who have viewed or purchased their new work
• Interviews of audience as creative process/research: how did the work inspire them to feel joy?
• Self-reflection: How did the audience provide joy for you while observing them being inspired or enjoying your art?
• For teaching artists: video document teaching a class (if students are willing participants)
• Video of you creating the work, perhaps to a particular piece of music
• Animation of sculptures or claymation or art pieces
• Anything that displays your work that is within the parameters of the project

Can the videos be of past work?
Ideally, the submitted work is created in 2026.  

What length of video?
1-5 minutes.  

How do I submit my video?
This step is TBD.  We will send out a link and instructions by September 1, 2026. 

What else should I know about the video?
The theme of the content is JOY.  We encourage you to run with this theme.  The amount of editing and level of production is up to you.

Do I have to collaborate?
Collaboration is encouraged but not required.
